About Rob

Sports Performance Programs for Individuals and Teams

Rob Bumbaco, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Mental Coach, and former Division 1 athlete is the founder of the Back in the Game® program. During his time playing competitive hockey, Rob noticed gaps in the support and services available to his fellow athletes. Back in the Game® is a sports performance program designed to help athletes develop the mental skills necessary to take their game to the next level while providing education and support for mental health and at-risk behaviors. 

In addition to working with athletes, Rob works with adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, obsessive compulsive disorder, and men’s related issues.  Rob specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy.  Rob enjoys working together with his clients to identify specific goals and action plans in order for his clients to achieve their desired outcomes.
