Jody Bechtold presents both nationally & internationally about education and treatment for problem gambling. She serves as Vice President for the International Gambling Counselor Certification Board, and as a board member for the National Council on Problem Gambling. Jody earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration and her Masters in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh. She is a graduate of the Professional coaching certification from Duquesne University School of Leadership & Professional Advancement. For her work in prevention, education and training, Jody was awarded the “Person of the Year” award from the Pennsylvania Council on Compulsive Gambling. Currently, she is co- authoring a clinicians handbook for treating problem gambling.
Jody has appeared on numerous TV spots, print media, and presented national webinars on the topics of mental health, gambling addiction and technology. With her energy and expertise, it’s easy to understand why the media, colleagues, and organizations seek to hear her speak.
