The beginning of the Spring season does not just have to mean getting things organized and cleaned up around the house. We also want to take time to do some “spring cleaning” for our own mental health. Here are three things to help you get your “mental spring cleaning started”:
What do you want to stop doing? Are there any bad habits or routines that you’ve fallen into? Take note of the things that you want to stop doing and hold yourself accountable to recognize when these negative habits may pop up.
What do you want to start doing? Take some time to think about the things that you want to start doing. Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone to try new things.
What do you want to continue doing? Reward yourself and recognize the progress you have been making. Be proud of the accomplishments that you’ve made and identify the things that you want to continue doing.
